Our Purpose
We are Not a referral service! Our purpose is to provide training and support to childcare providers and to educate parents and our communities about quality childcare. We do give free referrals to parents, however this is not what the association is here for. We strive to inspire each other to conduct ourselves in the best moral and ethical manner when representing the home childcare profession.
We
will maintain a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for children.
We
will act as advocates for children, always striving to meet their emotional,
physical,
educational and nutritional needs.
We
will be dependable and supportive of parents regarding their children.
We
will be supportive of other childcare providers by listening and sharing.
We
will proudly represent the SunShine Providers Childcare Association as
professionals in
the field of home childcare.
We
will cooperate with other associations and organizations whose goals are
compatible with
our own.
We
will work diligently to improve our community to make it a good place to raise
children.
